ArtCraft Download & Install: Official Sources for Every Platform
Updated 2026-10-11
ArtCraft is distributed through two official channels: the project website and its public GitHub repository. Because the suite is new and suddenly popular, copycat download pages are already appearing - stick to the sources below.
Official download sources
The launcher is the recommended route for the full suite: it installs every Craft app and keeps them updated. Individual app installers exist too if you only want, say, PhotoCraft or FilmCraft.
- getartcraft.com/download - the official download page, with the ArtCraft Launcher and per-app installers.
- github.com/storytold/artcraft/releases - signed release builds straight from the repository.
- Source build - clone storytold/artcraft and build with the Rust toolchain (documented in the README).
- app.getartcraft.com - the browser studio, no download at all.
Platform notes
macOS
A native Rust build is provided. Early releases may not carry full Apple notarization - if Gatekeeper warns, use the GitHub release and right-click → Open, or verify the download against the repository.
Windows
Windows installers are published on the same release page. SmartScreen may flag a new publisher; the permissively licensed source is public if you prefer to build it yourself.
Linux
Linux builds ship with the releases, and building from source on Linux is well-trodden territory for a Rust project.
Keeping the suite updated
The ArtCraft Launcher updates every installed Craft app in one pass - the recommended approach while the project ships frequent alpha updates. If you installed apps individually, watch the GitHub releases feed.
A note on fake download pages
Viral open-source projects attract lookalike sites offering "cracked" or "pro" builds. ArtCraft is free - anything charging for the download is not the real thing. This wiki is an unofficial resource and links to the official sources rather than hosting binaries.
